To The EXEP3D

The EXEP3D project aims to expand skills, transfer knowledge, and raise the innovation capacity of TTK’s Institute of Civil Engineering in the field of construction engineering

With the help of special conrete we are able to create better constructions

Ethical and Inclusive Frameworks

01

Ensure successful project implementation by setting up working methods and management structures that consider ethical requirements, data protection and diversity

Advancing 3D Concrete Excellence

02

Increase the scientific and technological capacity of TTK and of Estonia in the field of 3D concrete printing technology and mixtures, to advance TTK’s position in becoming the Centre of Excellence in concrete printing in Estonia

Joint Research on 3DCP Formwork

03

Improve TTK’s scientific profile by establishing a joint research direction on minimum formwork using 3DCP and locally produced mixtures for 3DCP.

Work Package

04

Widen and strengthen industry relationsfor two-way knowledge exchange to understand the needs of the demand side, translate research into real-life application and enhance applied research management practice of TTK as a national competence centre in the field.

Project Visibility and Sustainability

05

Ensure high project visibility, wide outreach, as well as the sustainability of the project beyond its lifetime

To The EXEP3D

The EXEP3D project aims to expand skills, transfer knowledge, and raise the innovation capacity of TTK’s Institute of Civil Engineering in the field of construction engineering with the aim to become a leading

competence centre in Estonia and Europe, more specifically in 3D concrete printing (3DCP) and locally produced sustainable mixtures. By linking the unique competencies of Eindhoven University of Technology and TU Dresden – the two leading universities in automation and 3D printing technologies for construction engineering and environmentally friendly mixtures – the project has potential to innovate the construction engineering industry as a whole.
