Introduction to EXEP3D

The goal of the EXEP3D project is to expand the construction engineering skills of TTK Institute of Construction, transfer knowledge and increase innovation capacity with the aim of becoming a leading competence center in Estonia and Europe, specifically in the field of 3D concrete printing (3DCP) and locally produced sustainable mixtures
“The EXEP3D project is an important step in the development of Estonian construction technology, because it brings us closer to more sustainable and efficient solutions that can be implemented both in Estonia and at the international level,”

Aivars Alt

Senior lecturer of the TTK Institute of Construction and EXEP3D project manager

Introduction To The EXEP3D Project

The goal of the project is to expand skills, share knowledge and increase the innovation capacity of Tallinn University of Technology’s construction institute in the field of construction technology in order to become a leading competence center for 3D concrete printing and locally produced sustainable mixtures in Estonia and the Baltic countries.
The international project lasts three years and its leading partner is Tallinn University of Technology. Cooperation is carried out with two European technical universities – Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands and Dresden University of Technology in Germany.

New technology for the construction industry

The EXEP3D project aims to expand skills, transfer knowledge, and raise the innovation capacity of TTK’s Institute of Civil Engineering in the field of construction engineering with the aim to become a leading competence centre in Estonia and Europe, more specifically in 3D concrete printing (3DCP) and locally produced sustainable mixtures.
